A publication - album entitled "The New Polyphony of Art and History" (Nowa polifonia sztuki i historii), prepared by prof. Ewa Chojecka and devoted to the history of the historical building of the Academy of Music in Katowice, in particular the Bolesław Szabelski Auditorium, was published as a part of the project. The publication focuses mainly on pictorial decorations adorning the former conference hall of Silesian Sejm, newly discovered during comprehensive restoration works. The publication contains a detailed description and explanation of the symbols visible on decorations and polychromies that were created between 1904 and 1907 by Emil Noellner, a painter and architect from Wrocław.
We invite you to read the publication.
