Restoration works inside the Bolesław Szabelski Hall are almost finished. Original polychromes that adorned the hall in the interwar period have been exposed in the course of conservation works. Several hundred square meters of colourful paintings covering most of the walls and vaults regained their historical look. Particularly noteworthy is the restored polychrome depicting the figure of St. Hedwig – the patron saint of historical Silesia. The Hall is being renovated in accordance with the canons of aesthetics applicable years ago.
