On 11 December 2014 the winner of the open tender for the ‘Design, construction, supply, and installation of pipe organ for the Karol Szymanowski Academy of Music in Katowice’ was selected. Out of the three offers that were submitted the best one and the only one that complied with all the conditions of the tender was the offer of the Slovenian company ANTON ŠKRABL S.P. The organ will be installed in the Bolesław Szabelski Auditorium by the end of 2015 and in February 2016 it will undergo intonation and tuning.
